Volunteers are an important part of SCAR. They play a role in every aspect of the organization, including the daily care of the cats in the shelter. Every morning starting at about 9 am volunteers clean the cat rooms, changing food and water dishes, switching out dirty towels and cat beds for fresh ones, and washing the cages, condos, and floors.
