Peppermint Patty

Peppermint Patty came to us as part of a scared litter of stray 2-3 month old kittens last fall. We thought they'd all end up feral, but Pep showed restraint in her reactions, so we gave her some time and worked with her. A few months later and she has come around, even moving into the sun room for adoption. She's still very shy, but she is very playful and curious. She'll take patience and a lot of love, but we think she will fit into a quiet home.

He's been to the vet for his rabies shot and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. We initially gave him an isolated space to wander, but this week he'll be graduating to the main cat rooms and be up for adoption after he's microchipped. He's a quiet but very friendly guy...

Seeking Information on Abandoned Cat
On Friday morning (May 4, 2018) the shelter office received an anonymous phone call from a local business stating simply that there was "a cat in a box by the dumpster". The caller hung up before our shelter manager could get additional information. She went to the business and nearby businesses to attempt to find the cat. After giving up the search she was taking trash to our shelter's dumpster w...
