BUILDING RENOVATIONS
In 2020 we bought the building we call home, thanks to the generosity of our previous landlords Val and Diane Poulsen. But 1517 Meadow Street has had a long history, which means it needs some work to keep providing our cats a safe and comfortable space while waiting for adoption.
There are basically three sections of our interesting building. Along with only some maintenance repairs to the original farmhouse section, the Board of Directors is also working with local architect Bill Howe on the best approach for the middle kitchen/garage section and the barn section on the end. Upon completion, we plan on having an updated isolation and intake space along with more efficient space for our low-cost spay/neuter clinics.
We're excited about what the changes to the building will do for the cats in our care! We'll be keeping you updated on our progress here and in our upcoming newsletters.
We continue to raise funds to start renovating our facility. We will be running fundraisers in the future to offset the additional cost once renovations have started.
